Greetings from the Embassy of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. I write to you personally and officially to inform your distinguished Office that the Republic of the Marshall Islands Government has declared a State of Emergency on 19 April 2013 responding to drought conditions. The RMI Government's National Disaster Committee dispatched assessment teams with emergency supplies to affected remote outer atolls and islands in the northern region.
從馬紹爾群島共和國大使館的問候。我寫信給你個人和正式通知您的尊貴辦公室，馬紹爾群島共和國政府已宣布全國進入緊急狀態應對乾旱條件下2013年4月19日。馬紹爾政府的國家災難委員會派出評估小組與緊急救援物資的影響遠程外環礁和島嶼的北部地區。
Through the Office of the President, His Excellency President Christopher J. Loeak issued a proclamation declaring an elevated State of Disaster in the Marshall islands. Attached herewith is the declaration on drought disaster : Immediate response plan, budgetary information and other necessary information for your ready reference. Any assistance that can be rendered ranges from water & food security, Reverse Osmosis (RO) units, medical supplies, fuel, transportation or financial contributions would be deeply appreciated.
